Formed in during the pandemic of 2020 by Grammy nominated producer Nikhil Suresh - Grihastha is a culmination of Nikhil's musical influence and life experience. Having lived in over 10+ countries and visited quite a few more, the musical influence for this project range from Heavy Metal to Hollywood musicals -- from blues to Bollywood and everything in between. Inspired by the energy and aggression of bands such as Metallica, Linking Park, Machine Head, Slipknot--but also the polished touch of artists such as Ariana Grande, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears -- then the groove of artists such as Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, and finally the exoticness or artists such as Lucky Ali, Tarkan, Ligabue and other international artists --Nikhil tries to incorporate something from all these influences into his own music and fuses themes from writers such as Alan Watts, J Krishnamurti, Swami Vivekananda and others into the lyrics of the songs. This unique fusion is what is presented to the listener as "Grihastha."
